Darn! I don’t think I’m going anywhere in life. I feel hopeless!

Here’s how I used to feel like a few years ago, “I know there are a lot of symptoms that indicate anxiety exists, but one of the worst is living in fear that a panic attack can hit at any time or I would have another one of those outbursts of pent up emotions in public.  I get very jittery and feel dizzy sometimes.  I sometimes feel as if I’m choking or having a heart attack.  My heart will race and I start sweating profusely. I just cannot control my temper anymore - something inside is just not me.”

For those of you who experience such feelings or thoughts, you may have a stress related disorder. There are certain signs you can look for on a daily basis.  For example, if you are looking at a glass as half empty all the time, you are essentially worry about everything. This pessimism can be a symptom of anxiety disorder. When I look back on my life just a few years in the past, instead of congratulating myself on successes, I used dwell on my failures - in fact I can’t remember a day when I felt proud of myself.

The most difficult part of diagnosing anxiety is sorting through what are real symptoms and what are normal reactions to life events.  Unfortunately, worrying about an anxiety attack can actually trigger one. Serious anxiety leads to panic attacks.

Through proper training and mental conditioning using non-invasive techniques, it is possible to mitigate the threat of depression, anxiety, phobias and panic attacks and live a fuller life.
